John Farry

John Farry is a consultant to Webb Farry and was one of the founders of the firm.
In addition to his legal work, John was the founder and chair of Radio Otago Ltd., a listed broadcasting company for 28 years until it merged with Radio Pacific Ltd. in 1999 to form Radioworks (NZ) Ltd.
He is also chair of Fund Managers Otago Ltd., Fund Managers Holdings Ltd., Mortgage Choice (NZ) Ltd., and a number of other companies.
John is involved in a number of community projects and is chair of the Taieri Gorge Railways Ltd, the St Joseph Cathedral Restoration Committee, the Otago Museum Redevelopment Appeal and the Catholic Development Fund (Dunedin Diocese).
He is also chair of the Community Trust of Otago, a holder of the Papal Gold Medal 'Benemerenti' and has been awarded the NZ Order of Merit for services to business and the community.
