Melanie Hayes is an Associate in our litigation and dispute resolution team.
Originally from Invercargill, Melanie studied law and psychology at the University of Otago before graduating in 2002. Following three years working in the litigation team of an Invercargill based firm, Melanie travelled to London where she spent a year working for the UK’s Insolvency Service. Melanie returned to New Zealand in 2007 and took up a position in the litigation team of Chapman Tripp in Wellington before joining Webb Farry in November 2010.
Melanie works with John Farrow and has a particular focus on civil litigation, employment and relationship property matters.
Melanie is married and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys a range of outdoor activities and getting lost in a good novel.
