A Partner in our Commercial Team, Teresa has a background in tax and is experienced in advising corporate, local authority and health clients.
Before graduating in Law, Teresa worked as a Tax Consultant for one of the then big eight accountancy firms.
She commenced her legal career in 1992 with national law firm Buddle Findlay, working in the commercial and health law areas. She returned to Dunedin to practise in 1994 and has been a partner of Webb Farry since 2004. Teresa advises a range of clients on complex commercial agreements, business restructuring and governance issues as well as financing and property transactions.
Teresa speaks Cantonese and reads Chinese. She is the Chairperson of the Otago and Southland Chinese Association and is currently a member of the Otago Standards Committee of the NZ Law Society. She enjoys swimming and has an interest in foreign films and documentaries.
