Tineke is a solicitor in Webb Farry’s Litigation Team working under the supervision of Kimberly Jarvis and focusing primarily on employment law. After working for Webb Farry in a permanent capacity for nearly 3 years, Tineke relocated to Wellington in February 2021 to complete her Masters in translation and interpreting and continues to work for Webb Farry remotely on an as required basis.
Tineke graduated from the University of Otago in 2017. As well as a Law Degree she majored in Language and Linguistics (language focus being French) and minored in Mandarin Chinese language. Tineke represented New Zealand at an international Mandarin speaking competition for non-native speakers of the language in both 2011 and 2016. She also spent a year on exchange in France in 2012 and worked as a volunteer in Taiwan in early 2018.
Originally from Alexandra, Tineke moved to Dunedin in her early teens for her secondary and tertiary education. Outside of work Tineke enjoys keeping active and spending time with friends and family.
