Simon Eton (LLB, BA)

Senior Solicitor


Simon works in our Commercial/Property team and has experience advising clients on range of areas including residential and commercial conveyancing, commercial leasing, subdivisions, asset and estate planning including Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Trust Formation. Simon enjoys making legal jargon easy to understand for clients, particularly when it is a new area for them such as for first home buyers.

Simon joined Webb Farry in December 2019 following graduating from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (History) in May of the same year. Simon was admitted to the bar as a Barrister and Solicitor in June 2020.

Simon enjoys keeping active by playing social sports with friends and has a keen interest in rugby, cricket, football and basketball. Outside of sports Simon is a member of a book club and is also a Commissioned Officer in New Zealand Cadet Forces and volunteers his time with Dunedin Navy Cadets.
